About

I design, build, and maintain things for the web, from my own products to technical systems that other people rely on every day.

How I work

My work sits at the intersection of web development, product design, and technical problem solving. I'm interested in building things that are simple, reliable, and easy to live with over time.

Alongside client work, I actively design and develop my own web-based products. That experience shapes how I approach technical services, with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, real-world usage, and avoiding unnecessary complexity.

What I focus on

  • Clear, maintainable systems
  • Practical problem solving
  • Long-term reliability
  • Thoughtful, simple design

Principles

Clarity over complexity

I aim to keep systems understandable and well structured, favouring simple solutions where possible.

Built to last

Whether it's a product or a one-off fix, I focus on work that won't need rewriting or constant repair.

Honest problem solving

I try to be direct about trade-offs, limitations, and what will genuinely improve a situation.

Background

2026 - Present

Building and maintaining independent web products while providing technical services and support to new and existing clients.

2025

I launched my first commercial product IguanaCart Extra, allowing users who need more powerful tools to subscribe for a low monthly (or yearly) fee and get extra benefits. I also worked with Concept-Turning to create a new website for their business as well as solve some technical issues on site.

2024

I developed many tools such as costify, my free mobile contract comparison tool which helps UK consumers find the best contract for them. I also built Notely, my free cloud based note taking app with markdown support.

2023

I spent most of this year working on college projects with friends, for example our former social media site totem-social & a student movie streaming site YC-Movies.
